This timeline outlines the upcoming selection process for NTU students who wish to participate in our exchange program. If you are a student from one of our partner universities interested in studying at NTU as an incoming exchange student, please refer to the relevant information on this website.
Announcement of Guidelines
Time: August 2023
1. Please note that aplicants must submit language certificates acquired on or after 1 May 2022 during the selection.
2. As a general rule, please ensure you have at least 6 months of validity remaining on your passport (i.e. December 2025).
Semester 1, 2024/2025AY Exchange Students Selection Guidelines
Online Application
Start: 7 November 2023, 10AM
End: 13 November 2023, 4PM
1. Only the applicants that have submitted their online application and all required documents within the designated time frame will be qualified for the preliminary documentation review.
2. Applicants that fail to complete their online applications will be ineligible for selection.
3. The application timeline for the NTU Scholarships for Exchange Students aligns with the selection timeline. For more information, please visit the dedicated page.
Preliminary Documentation Review & Uploading of Insufficient Documents
End: 16 November 2023, 4PM
1. During the preliminary review, each notified applicant has at most one chance to reupload insufficient documents.
2. Please note that Resume and Exchange Study Plan are not open for reupload.
3. Applicants that fail to reupload all insufficient documents will be ineligible for selection.
Selection Score Release
Time: 6 December 2023, 4PM
Results will be posted on the 'Exchange Students - How to Apply' page and updated within the selection system. Please note that the NTU Study Abroad Team will not be sending out individual notifications regarding these results.
First Listing of Preferences
Start: 6 December 2023, 4PM
End: 11 December 2023, 4PM
Applicants that have not successfully submitted their list of preferences will forfeit being allocated.
Selection Decisions Release
Time: 14 December 2023, 4PM
Results will be posted on the 'Exchange Students - How to Apply' page and updated within the selection system. Please note that the NTU Study Abroad Team will not be sending out individual notifications regarding these results.
Registration
Start: 14 December 2023, 4PM
End: 19 December 2023, 4PM
Applicants that fail to complete their registration within the designated time frame will automatically forfeit their admission/placement.
Announcement of Available Placements (Second Listing of Preferences)
Time: By 21 December 2023, 4PM
Second Listing of Preferences
Start: 21 December 2023, 4PM
End: 26 December 2023, 4PM
Applicants that have renounced their First Listing of Preferences, have not been assigned a host institution, or have declined their admission, and have not registered for any college/department-level exchange programs for Semester 1, 2024/2025AY are eligible for the Second Listing of Preferences.
Selection Decisions Release
Time: 29 December 2023, 4PM
Results will be posted on the 'Exchange Students - How to Apply' page and updated within the selection system. Please note that the NTU Study Abroad Team will not be sending out individual notifications regarding these results.
Registration
Start: 29 December 2023, 4PM
End: 3 January 2024, 4PM
Applicants that fail to complete their registration within the designated time frame will automatically forfeit their admission/placement.
